Aston Villa could reportedly welcome offers for Jonathan Kodjia this summer.
Villa are facing an anxious summer as they prepare for their third consecutive season in the Championship, and their financial situation has received a lot of publicity since they failed to beat Fulham in the play-off final last month.
Only Tony Xia will truly know what the future may look like for the Villans, and thus, the fans will be hoping that Steve Bruce is able to keep the majority of his key players at the club as it should provide an indication as to whether they should be worried about what is to come or not.
Unfortunately for Villa fans however, it appears that keeping all of their best players may not be possible. And Bristol Live is now reporting that the club could be open to offers for Kodjia two years after his £15 million move.
Kodjia may have spent a significant period of his time with Villa on the sidelines due to injury, but keeping him around next season would undoubtedly be a boost as he has proved that he can be lethal in front of goal when he is fit.
He scored 19 Championship goals in each of the two seasons before last. And with Lewis Grabban’s loan deal now expired, Bruce may be looking at the Ivory Coast international as a player that he would love to rely on next season as Villa look to put their off-field concerns behind them as much as possible.
