Celtic were reportedly interested in signing the towering defender.

Reported Celtic target Strahinja Pavlovic appears to be heading to Lazio from Partizan Belgrade, according to Serbian media outlet Telegraf.
The 18-year-old centre-back was a target for the Hoops, according to the Daily Record, with Neil Lennon performing a scouting mission on the youngster during Partizan’s clash with Connah’s Quay Nomads last month.
Pavlovic seems to have all the ingredients needed to go on and become a real star in the game, so missing out on him will be a real blow for Celtic.
Serbian media outlet Telegraf claims that Juventus were also keen on signing the Serbia under-19 international, but his club have now agreed a deal with Lazio worth €5.5 million (£5.1 million) to take him to the Italian capital.

Central defence is definitely an area where Lennon will want to improve ahead of the transfer deadline at the end of this month, and it seems as though he will now have to look elsewhere.
Quite who Celtic will be targeting now, however, remains to be seen.
