According to Kicker, Tottenham Hotspur could miss out on Stoke City striker Mohamed Sankoh to Stuttgart.

It’s claimed that Tottenham are interested in snapping up Sankoh, but they face a major battle bringing him to North London.

Chelsea, Juventus and Barcelona are also thought to be interested, but Stuttgart seemingly fancy their chances of springing a shock by winning the race.

They have already held a meeting with Sankoh, and have allegedly ‘left a strong impression’, meaning a move to Germany could be on the cards.

Stuttgart have won promotion back to the Bundesliga, and may be able to offer Sankoh a pathway to first-team football in Germany.

The 16-year-old striker joined Stoke from Sparta Rotterdam in 2018, and has impressed in the Under-18 Premier League with three goals and three assists.

With one goal in three caps for the Dutch Under-17’s, Sankoh has shown real potential, and he could make a big move this summer.

Spurs could add him to promising strikers Troy Parrott and Kion Etete, but may end up missing out to Stuttgart if these reports are to be believed.
