Victor Osimhen does not fancy a move to Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal or Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United in the summer transfer window, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Victor Osimhen not convinced by Arsenal or Newcastle
The Italian publication has claimed that Arsenal and Newcastle want to sign Osimhen from Napoli this summer.
Newcastle wanted to sign the Nigeria international striker in the January transfer window and are willing to pay big money to secure the youngster’s signature this summer, according to the report.
However, La Gazzetta dello Sport have reported that Osimhen does not fancy a move to Arsenal or Newcastle this summer.
That’s because the striker wants to play in the UEFA Champions League and would prefer to stay at Napoli to a move to Arsenal or Newcastle.

Could things change?
In our view, if Victor Osimhen has already made up his mind that he will not move to Arsenal or Newcastle United in the summer transfer window, then there is nothing that the Gunners or the Magpies could do.
Napoli will play in the UEFA Champions League next season and could also challenge for the Serie A title.
Osimhen scored 14 goals and gave two assists in 23 Serie A starts and scored four goals in three Europa League starts for Napoli last season.
