Rangers are giving Cameron Gascoigne a chance to earn a deal at Ibrox.

According to the Daily Record, Rangers will run the rule over free agent striker Cameron Gascoigne this week as he heads to Glasgow for a trial.
The Gers have a host of young attackers at the club, such as Dapo Mebude, Nathan Young-Coombes and Zak Rudden, but they could move for another.
It’s believed that Gascoigne is heading to Rangers’ Auchenhowie training base this week for a trial with Rangers, as they consider handing him a contract at Ibrox.
The 18-year-old is a free agent after a spell at Newcastle United, and Rangers allegedly have some competition from English clubs, who are also keen on the teenager.
It’s difficult to talk about the youngster without drawing attention to his name, as he is of course related to former Rangers and Newcastle hero Paul Gascoigne.
Cameron is his nephew, and just days after ‘Gazza’ headed up to Glasgow to visit Rangers and Steven Gerrard, it seems the teenager is set to do the same.

As noted by the Birmingham Mail in 2009, Newcastle signed striker Gascoigne after he scored 22 goals in a 30-minute junior match, but he ultimately wasn’t able to make the grade with the Magpies.
Other information on the youngster is difficult to find, but with Rangers offering him the chance to impress, he could follow in his uncle’s footsteps by joining the Gers in what would be a quite remarkable story for the Gascoigne family and Rangers as a whole.
