A move to Leeds United is said to interest Christian Stuani, who has emerged as a potential target for Marcelo Bielsa’s side.
El Observador say that Bielsa has thought of bringing the 33-year-old to Elland Road now, with his contract at Girona due to expire at the end of the season.
Leeds appear to be looking for a new striker, as they seek to provide competition for Patrick Bamford for their first season back in the top flight.
Stuani is currently locked in a promotion battle, with Girona competing in the play offs to try and help the Spanish side earn a spot back in La Liga.
When the promotion deciding fixtures are over, Stuani will then make a final decision over his future.
The experienced forward is said to currently be ‘interested’ in joining Leeds, although whether the Whites will meet his wage demands remains to be seen.
Stuani may be of advancing years now, but his 29 goals this season prove that he still knows where the net is, and with Leeds looking for a finisher he could be an ideal fit.
