Stoke City reportedly want to sign the Sheffield United man.

According to a report from the Daily Mail, Stoke City are hoping to get a late deal for Sheffield United winger Mark Duffy over the line before this evening’s 5pm deadline.
The Potters are trying to build a squad capable of earning promotion back to the Premier League this season, and they have already signed Tommy Smith, Liam Lindsay, Stephen Ward, Jordan Cousins, Lee Gregory, Adam Davies, Nick Powell, Scott Hogan and Cameron Carter-Vickers.
Sheffield United’s experienced ace Mark Duffy will be a useful addition too, if Stoke can finalise a deal before 5pm this evening.
The 33-year-old can play on either flank, as well as in central midfield if need be, and he would be a very reliable squad member for Nathan Jones’s side.
He racked up six goals and seven assists in 36 Championship appearances for the Blades last season.

The Daily Mail (Live transfer feed, 16:38) claims that Stoke City are trying to wrap up a season-long loan deal for the Sheffield United man.
Only time will tell, however, whether they are successful or not.
