Stoke City are reportedly in talks over the signing of Robin van Persie.

According to reports from Turkish outlet AMK, Premier League outfit Stoke City are currently in talks with the agent of Robin van Persie.
Van Persie made a surprise move from Manchester United to Fenerbahce during the start of last season and although the Dutchman managed an impressive 22 goals in 48 appearances at the Şükrü Saracoğlu Stadium, it is widely expected that the Turkish giants will be looking to get rid of the striker this summer.

Van Persie has endured a strained relationship with Fenerbahce manager Vítor Pereira over the past few months and as a result, the 32-year-old is also said to be keen on an exit from the club.
A move back to England has been seen as a real possibility for Van Persie and reports have claimed that the duo of West Ham United (Daily Mail) and Stoke City (Daily Mirror) are keen on securing the services of the former Arsenal skipper.

Now according to reports from AMK, Stoke City have allegedly ramped up their pursuit for van Persie and have established talks with the striker’s agent, Kees Vos.
It has also been claimed that Fenerbahce want around £5 million and that Stoke have not yet placed a concrete bid on the table for Van Persie despite holding talks with the player’s representative.
