Stoke City and Brighton and Hove Albion reportedly want Aston Villa defender James Chester.

It has been reported that Stoke are planning a new offer of £7 million after seeing their initial bid of £5m bid for Chester turned down by Championship rivals Villa.
Premier League club Brighton and Hove Albion are also reported to be interested in the 29-year-old centre-back, with Villa claimed to want as much as £10m for the Wales international.
Good move for James Chester?
Chester is one of the best central defenders in the Championship, and the Wales international did well for Villa during the 2017-18 campaign in which Steve Bruce’s side reached the playoffs.

With Villa having FFP issues, the Villans could have to sell some of their best players, and one should not be surprised that Stoke and Brighton are reportedly interested in the 29-year-old.
Stoke will be aiming to bounce straight back to the Premier League after getting relegated from the Championship at the end of last season.
