Leicester City defender Danny Simpson is said to be interesting Stoke City boss Gary Rowett.

Claude Puel could allow Simpson to leave the King Power Stadium this summer, as he feels he has better options at right-back this season.
And Gary Rowett’s Stoke City side are very keen to take Simpson on loan.
Stoke have made a rather underwhelming start to life in the Championship, having failed to win either of their first two games.
Rowett’s squad still appears to need work, and Simpson is a player on the Potters boss’s wishlist.

The 31-year-old has been a solid servant for Leicester over the years, and played a key role in them winning the Premier League title back in 2016.
If Stoke did land Simpson from Leicester, he would be in competition with Mauritz Bauer for a place at right-back in Rowett’s starting line-up.
