Stoke City, Hull City and Derby County are reportedly ready to pounce on a potential bargain deal for the Liverpool talent.

A trio of clubs – Stoke City, Hull City and Derby County – are circling around Liverpool midfielder Cameron Brannagan, according to The Independent.

It is claimed the 21-year-old is likely to leave Anfield this summer, after he failed to make Jurgen Klopp’s squad for the upcoming Premier League Asia Trophy.

Brannagan is said to have been expecting to go on loan to a Championship club this season, but with 11 months left on his contract Liverpool are reportedly reluctant to sanction such a move until he signs a new deal.

However, the report states that the England Under-20 international will only commit to the Reds if he is given assurances over his pathway to the first team – and other clubs appear to be taking note.

It is claimed that Stoke, Hull and Derby are ready to pounce on a potential bargain deal.

However, Stoke have already strengthened their midfield with the capture of Darren Fletcher earlier this summer, while Derby signed Tom Huddlestone from Hull on Saturday, potentially reducing their need to sign Brannagan and increasing Hull’s.

Nevertheless, Rams boss Gary Rowett admitted via The Derby Telegraph on Monday that he is looking to add another midfielder of a different type to Huddlestone.
