According to the Daily Mail, Stoke City are hoping that their positive relationship with Liverpool and the offer of first team football can convince Mamadou Sakho to join on loan.

The defender is currently being offered around to Premier League clubs after falling down the pecking order at Anfield.

Ragnar Klavan and Joel Matip have both arrived at the club this summer while Dejan Lovren has shown improvement under Jurgen Klopp.

Sakho’s chances have also not been helped by the fact he was sent back from the club’s pre-season tour of American either.

According to the Daily Mail, that incident has seen Klopp deem the Frenchman as surplus to requirements and now he is offering him to teams in the Premier League.
