Stoke City could reportedly move for Derby County winger Tom Lawrence.

Gary Rowett manager of Derby looks on during the Sky Bet Championship match between Derby County and Wolverhampton at iPro Stadium on August 12, 2017 in Derby, England.

Stoke City manager Gary Rowett could make a move for Derby County attacker Tom Lawrence in the summer transfer window, according to The Sun.

It has been reported by the British tabloid that Rowett could go back to his former club Derby to sign Lawrence, who can operate as a winger or as a forward.

The 24-year-old Wales international, who started his professional club football career at Manchester United, is reported to be rated at £10 million.

Good signing for Derby County?

Lawrence has been on the books of Derby since the summer of 2017 when he joined from Leicester City for an initial transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £5 million.

The winger made 38 starts and three substitute appearances in the Championship for Derby last season, scoring six goals and providing seven assists in the process.

Lawrence has proved himself to be a good player at the Championship, and having worked with the Wales international at Derby, Rowett will know all about the former Leicester winger.
