Stoke City are reportedly closing in on the Galatasaray ace.
According to Turkish media outlet Sabah, the Potters are moving closer for a deal to sign Galatasaray midfielder Badou Ndiaye, after the player left the Turkish giant’s training camp at midnight last night.
Paul Lambert is desperate to bolster his ranks at the BET 365 Stadium, with his side currently sitting precariously in 17th position in the Premier League table, just one point clear of the drop zone.
Turkish media outlet Sabah claim that Stoke’s priority this month is to sign Gala ace Ndiaye, and they suggest that they have moved closer in their pursuit of the 27-year-old, after the player reportedly left his club’s training camp to begin talks with the Potters.
The Senegal internal only joined Galatasaray six months ago, for a fee believed to be in the region of €7.5 million (£6.5 million), making 17 appearances for the Turkish giants, registering a goal and three assists in the process.
Turkish media outlet Fotomac claim that Stoke are prepared to pay €16 million (£14 million) in order to secure the services of Ndiaye, and in today’s ludicrously inflated transfer market, that could turn out to be a shrewd piece of business for the Potters.
