The Queens Park Rangers defender is a reported target for former boss Mark Hughes at Stoke City, but the Welshman could face a battle with Brighton & Hove Albion.
Stoke City and Brighton & Hove Albion are keen on Queens Park Rangers defender Nedum Onuoha, The Mirror reports (9 August, page 52).
However, it is claimed Onuoha could be offered a new long-term deal to keep him at Loftus Road.

Stoke boss Mark Hughes signed the 30-year-old for QPR in January 2012, having previously managed him at Manchester City.
The Potters recently sold Phil Bardsley to Burnley, while Marc Muniesa looks to be on the verge of a move to Girona, leaving Hughes with two positions to fill at the back.
But Brighton may also be on the lookout for defensive reinforcements, particularly at centre-back, after they released Vegard Forren in June.
Nevertheless, the Seagulls are boosted by the return of Connor Goldson in the Norwegian’s position, following a heart problem.

Onuoha, who captains QPR, is out of contract at the end of the current campaign, and could be tempted by the Premier League football on offer at Stoke or Brighton, after two years outside the top flight.
Would QPR’s Onuoha be a good signing for Stoke City / Brighton & Hove Albion?
