Rangers manager Steven Gerrard is interested in bringing Sheffield Wednesday defender Morgan Fox to Ibrox, according to TEAMtalk.

It has been reported that Rangers, who finished second in the Scottish Premiership table this season, are among a number of clubs who want to secure the services of Fox this summer.

West Bromwich Albion, Burnley, Norwich City and Middlesbrough have also been credited with interest in the Welsh left-back by the report.

According to TEAMtalk, Fox is out of contract at Wednesday this summer, although the Championship club want to retain his services but are finding it difficult to convince him to stay due to financial issues.

Stats

Fox has been on the books of Wednesday since 2017 and has been a good player for the Owls over the years.

According to WhoScored, the defender has made 24 starts and two substitute appearances in the Championship for Wednesday so far this season, scoring two goals and providing one assist in the process.

During the 2018-19 campaign, the 26-year-old made 21 starts and four substitute appearances in the league for Owls, providing three assists in the process, according to WhoScored.
