Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers boss Steven Gerrard is said to want to bring in the Liverpool duo.

Steven Gerrard is unveiled as the new manager of Rangers football Club at Ibrox Stadium on May 4, 2018 in Glasgow, Scotland.

According to a report in the Daily Express, new Glasgow Rangers boss Steven Gerrard is looking to bring two of Liverpool’s brightest prospects to Ibrox.

Gerrard is keen to use his contacts back at Liverpool to improve his Rangers’ squad.

And Ryan Kent and Ben Woodburn are both said to be on Gerrard’s wishlist, as he looks to improve Rangers’ attack.

Woodburn is Rangers’ first choice loan target, as Gerrard believes he could offer the 18-year-old regularly football at Rangers.

Woodburn has already scored for Liverpool’s first team, but hasn’t played much for the senior squad over the past campaign and Rangers feel that a move to Glasgow could aid the Welsh international’s development.

Gerrard also is said to like Kent, who is another Liverpool player who looks an exciting prospect.

Kent has been on a series of loan spell over the last few seasons and would offer Rangers pace and trickery from the flank, if he was to join the Light Blues.
