According to The Daily Record, Rangers are likely to hand midfielder Steven Davis a new contract.
Davis joined Rangers on loan from Southampton in the Premier League in the January transfer window.
The 34-year-old Northern Ireland international spent the second half of last season on loan at the Gers.
Rangers signed the former Aston Villa and Fulham midfielder on a one-year contract in the summer transfer window as a free agent.
The Daily Record has claimed that it is likely that Davis will be offered the chance to stay at Rangers for another year or two.

Good plan from Rangers?
Davis has done well in his second spell at Rangers and has established himself as an important player in manager Steven Gerrard’s team.
The Northern Ireland international is calm and mature, and he is a leader in the middle of the park.
True, the midfielder is now 34 years of age, but given his quality and influence on the pitch, handing him a one-year contract extension would not be a bad idea.
