Micah Richards has played just three times for Aston Villa this season.
According to a report in the Birmingham Mail, Aston Villa defender Micah Richards will stay at Villa Park this month.
Richards’ future has been heavily speculated about in recent months, as the defender has struggled to feature this term.
Richards has played just three times for Villa, and he remains one of the Midlands club’s highest earners.

However, Steve Bruce is said to want to keep hold of the England international, as he believes that Richards could still could have a part to play.
Richards was recalled to the substitutes’ bench in Villa’s most recent fixture, which they drew 2-2 with Preston North End.
And it seems that Bruce has seen enough to suggest that Richards could now remain in his first-team for the rest of the season.

Villa are in need of tightening up at the back, as Bruce’s side look to make a push for the play offs.
The claret and blues are currently sat in 13th place in the Championship table, nine points away from the top six.
