Hull City could lose several key members of their backroom staff if Steve Bruce becomes the new manager of Aston Villa, according to the Hull Daily Mail.
Bruce has been tipped to become the Villa boss after Roberto Di Matteo left the role earlier this month and the former Hull manager could take various member of his former staff, should he be appointed at Villa Park.
The Tigers currently have Mike Phelan in charge as caretaker manager, who worked under Bruce at the KCOM Stadium.

The Hull Daily Mail are reporting that Bruce is interested in taking City’s first-team coach Stephen Clemence and goalkeeping coach Gary Walsh.
Whilst the newspaper claims no formal contact has been made they expect the appointment of Bruce at Villa would result in ‘major consequences’ for the Premier League outfit.

Clemence has previously worked under Bruce for Sunderland in 2010, before following the ex-Manchester United defender to Hull in 2012 and has spent the last two seasons working as part of the senior coaching staff.
The Hull Daily Mail also claim that Phelan has moved a step closer to becoming the new permanent manager after a deal advanced last week, but several details still need to be agreed.
