Newcastle United striker Joelinton is yet to get off the mark since moving to St. James’ Park.

According to the Telegraph, Newcastle United boss Steve Bruce is already worried about Joelinton.
The Brazilian striker should be fit to face Tottenham Hotspur in Newcastle’s next match, but Bruce is concerned that his new signing’s confidence has been knocked.
Joelinton has failed to hit the back of the net in his first two Premier League appearances and missed a glorious chance for Newcastle against Norwich City.
The powerful forward put his header wide from close range, as Newcastle looked to score the opening goal against Norwich.
That miss ended up proving costly, as the Magpies slipped to a 3-1 defeat at Carrow Road.
Bruce has now reportedly told Newcastle’s coaching staff to try and lift Joelinton’s spirits in training this week to ensure that his head doesn’t drop.

Newcastle need to be patient with Joelinton, as he is making a step up.
Bruce’s tactics have not helped the new signing adjust, as he has been so isolated up-top for Newcastle so far.
The Magpies badly need to find a system which gets more support to their striker, otherwise their troubles could get worse.
Joelinton may find it difficult to open his Newcastle account at the weekend, as Bruce’s side’s next match comes against Tottenham Hotspur.
