Leeds United’s players return back in just over a week.
New Middlesbrough manager Garry Monk
It is three weeks since Garry Monk resigned as Leeds United boss and supporters wait for news of his replacement.
Fans are trusting new owner Andrea Radrizzani to get it right, but the length of time it is taking is causing anxiety.
A report in the Yorkshire Evening Post underlines just how finely Radrizzani is cutting it.

Leeds United’s players are reportedly due back for medical tests ahead of the new season on Friday June 23 – eight days time.
Pre-season fitness work then begins the following Monday (26th).
Leeds’ players remain in limbo, unsure who will be taking their coaching sessions and leading them into the 2016/17 season.

The Whites are also yet to announce their pre-season plans, although last season these were published similarly late.
Last season Garry Monk was appointed by Leeds on June 2, giving him more time to prepare for the campaign than Leeds’ next boss is being afforded.
Getting their choice of manager in before the players return surely is an absolute must.
