Aston Villa are looking to find a replacement for Roberto Di Matteo.
According to a report on BBC Sport, Aston Villa have a list of 10 managers in the frame to take over from Roberto Di Matteo.
Villa are hunting for the right man to take over from Di Matteo, who left his post at the start of this week.
The Claret and Blues have won just once in their first 11 Championship matches, leaving them down in 19th place in the standings.
Villa’s board are now drafting up plans to find a new manager, who they hope will be able to get their season back on track.
Villa have narrowed their search down to 10 names, with Steve Clarke, David Wagner, Lee Johnson and Steve Bruce reportedly amongst the names on the list.
Villa plan to start their interview process before the end of the week, but owner Tony Xia will not be involved in picking Di Matteo’s replacement until a later stage.
If Villa do go for a manager currently in charge at another club, they are reportedly prepared to wait to ensure that they get the right man.
Clarke is now in caretaker charge at Villa, and the Midlands club have not put a timeframe on when they hope to have their next permanent manager in charge by.
