Speculation is mounting over Slaven Bilic’s future at West Ham after a heavy defeat against Liverpool at the weekend.

The Hammers sit in the relegation zone and Bilic’s actions after the game reportedly spoke of a soon to be condemned man.

The Times report: “Bilic walked into the dressing room after Saturday’s defeat and shook his players’ hands, leaving the impression that he expected to be fired.”

David Moyes, Manager of Sunderland gives his team instructions during the Premier League match between Arsenal and Sunderland at Emirates Stadium on May 16, 2017 in London, England.

Former Everton, Manchester United and Sunderland boss David Moyes is the current favourite to replace Bilic, with the report stating he is set to hold talks over the role.

Bilic admitted after the game speaking to BBC Sport that he was under ‘big pressure’.

West Ham’s owners had big ambitions prior to their move to the London Stadium but it has not gone smoothly.

Relegation would be disastrous for the club and it certainly seems at present that they are in a survival battle.

Bilic needs to show the board he is not out of ideas, but it appears at present he recognises his time is almost up, and that premonition could soon become reality.
