Tottenham Hotspur’s pursuit of Tanguy Ndombele reportedly continues.

According to The Guardian, Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has told Daniel Levy that he thinks Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele would be the perfect signing this summer.
Spurs need reinforcements this summer, and key additions are needed in midfield, with Pochettino lacking major quality in his engine room.
Moussa Sissoko emerged as a replacement for Mousa Dembele, but signing another player with pace, power, skill and drive will be key, and Lyon’s Ndombele is a popular target.
Lyon won’t sell on the cheap, and it’s claimed that Spurs currently value him at €50million, which is a full €25million shy of Lyon’s valuation, meaning they’ll have to pay £66million to sign him.
The report also notes that Pochettino has told Spurs chairman Levy that he thinks Ndombele is exactly the type of signing he wants to make this summer, believing he’s perfect for Spurs.

Ndombele, 22, has broken through as one of the top young midfielders in Europe during his time with Lyon, and many are expecting him to leave Lyon this summer.
He fits the bill perfectly as a long-term replacement for Dembele, and with Pochettino making it clear to Levy that he wants a deal for for the Frenchman, Spurs fans will hope that the boat is well and truly pushed out.
