Tottenham Hotspur are still in the market for reinforcements.

According to The Telegraph, Tottenham Hotspur are planning at least two more new signings before next Thursday’s transfer deadline.
Spurs have already brought in two signings this summer, as midfielder Tanguy Ndombele joined in a club-record deal from Lyon, whilst winger Jack Clarke signed from Leeds before re-joining them on loan.
Those deals were promising for Spurs after more than 500 days without a signing, but it has gone a little quiet since then, despite Mauricio Pochettino needing more reinforcements.
Now, it’s claimed that Spurs hope to bring in at least two more signings before the transfer deadline, with Pochettino really pushing for further additions.
If we had to guess who the intended signings are, we’d back Fulham’s Ryan Sessegnon and Real Betis playmaker Giovani Lo Celso.
Sessegnon would be the long-term attacking left back that Spurs have been seeking, especially as Danny Rose is seemingly available for transfer.

Whilst there are rumours about Spurs targeting Bruno Fernandes, that smacks of brinkmanship from Daniel Levy and co, attempting to force Betis to sell given that they’ve already signed Lo Celso’s replacement in Nabil Fekir, whilst they want to spend big on a striker – something they can’t do without selling Lo Celso.
Those two have been Spurs targets for months now, and whilst a right back should be targeted too after Juan Foyth’s injury on Wednesday, Sessegnon and Lo Celso appear to be the most likely arrivals.
