Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly pursuing two Red Bull Salzburg talents.

According to Austrian newspaper Salzburger Nachrichten, Tottenham Hotspur want Red Bull Salzburg striker Dimitri Oberlin – but have been tracking teammate Amadou Haidara for longer.
Spurs are set to be in the market for new signings this summer, and whilst some may hope for big names to really kickstart the club’s new era in their new stadium, that doesn’t exactly fit Mauricio Pochettino’s approach.
Talented youngsters from around Europe seems to be far more likely, and reports now suggest that Spurs are plotting a double raid on Austrian side Red Bull Salzburg this summer.

It’s claimed that Spurs are keen on Red Bull Salzburg-owned striker Dimitri Oberlin, who is out on loan at Swiss side Basel, whilst they have been tracking teammate Amadou Haidara for much longer as they eye up potential successors to Mousa Dembele.
Who are Tottenham’s two targets?
Haidara, 20, joined Salzburg in 2016, and after spending time out on loan with FC Liefering last season, he has kicked on and impressed this term.

The Mali international is capable of playing out wide or up front, and now appears to be on Pochettino’s radar, with finding Dembele’s eventual replacement seemingly a priority this summer.
A move for Oberlin would also be fascinating, as he has hit nine goals in 31 games for Basel this season, and made headlines earlier this season as he showcased his incredible pace to score against Benfica.
The 20-year-old striker has only played 20 times for Salzburg having been loaned out to FC Liefering and SC Rheindorf Altach, but looks to have a bright future – and Pochettino may well want to develop him behind star striker Harry Kane in the coming years.
