Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly keen on RB Salzburg’s Amadou Haidara.

According to Sky Sports, Tottenham Hotspur are interested in snapping up Red Bull Salzburg midfielder Amadou Haidara – but there may be concerns about him already agreeing a move to RB Leipzig.
Spurs need to find at least one midfielder to bring in next year, as Mousa Dembele is not only injured but also out of contract at the end of the season, with a stay looking unlikely.
Any midfielder arriving to replace Dembele must be able to play as a box-to-box midfielder, and whilst Tanguy Ndombele and Abdoulaye Doucoure are thought to be targets, another player is on the radar.
Sky Sports report that Red Bull Salzburg talent Haidara is a target for Spurs, with a potential bid for the Mali international coming in the January transfer window.
Haidara, 20, joined Salzburg from the JMG Academy in Bamako back in 2016, and has now become a key first-team player in Austria, helping Salzburg reach the Europa League semi-finals last season.
With three goals and six assists this season, the talented midfielder continues to impress, and would certainly be a strong addition to the Spurs midfield in a post-Dembele world.

However, Bild recently reported that Haidara has already agreed a 2019 move to RB Leipzig, Salzburg’s sister club, and that may just prevent Spurs from making a move.
After replacing Liverpool’s Naby Keita at Salzburg, he could now do the same at Leipzig, and leave Spurs to go back to the drawing board in their search of midfield talent.
