Tottenham Hotspur aren’t finished their spending yet.
Spurs have been heavily linked with a move for Swansea City centre-back Joe Rodon in recent weeks.
The North Londoners failed to sign him during the regular transfer window, but the domestic one remains open until this evening.
And according to 90 Min, Tottenham ‘believe’ that they’re going to sign the 22-year-old, who will fetch £18 million.
The report adds that Gareth Bale has personally recommended his Wales team-mate to Jose Mourinho, who has done his research on the player.
The Lilywhites could do with additional centre-backs after releasing Jan Vertonghen in the summer and loaning Juan Foyth to Villarreal.
And with questions over Japhet Tanganga’s fitness once again, Rodon looks like it’ll be a timely deal for Tottenham.
If and when a deal for Rodon materialises, the Welsh defender will be Mourinho’s seventh signing, following Joe Hart, Pierre-Emile Hojberg, Bale, Sergio Reguilon, Carlos Vinicius and Matt Doherty to Hotspur Way.
