Tottenham Hotspur could only need to pay just over £18 million if they want to sign Florian Grillitsch.

Sky Sports reports that Spurs have been monitoring Grillitsch for club and country this term as they consider potential replacements for Mousa Dembele, who appears to be on his way to China this month.
Grillitsch has been superb for Hoffenheim this season, making 14 appearances in the Bundesliga and appearing in all six of their Champions League group games.
The 23-year-old’s combative nature would make him a welcome addition to Mauricio Pochettino’s side, while his quality on the ball cannot be overlooked, with the Austria international also capable of being one of the more creative players in the side.

And Sky Sports is reporting that his contract in Germany includes a release clause of just over £18 million. Given the form that he is showing this season, that would arguably leave him with a fantastic chance of proving to be a bargain signing if Pochettino pursued a deal.
Coming in to replace Dembele is going to be a tough task for any player who arrives in the near future. But if Spurs can sign his replacement for less than £20 million, that will surely take a lot of pressure off the incoming player.
