Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Giovani Lo Celso is set to miss the remainder of January, according to the London Evening Standard.
Lo Celso came off in Tottenham’s 2-0 defeat to Leicester City last month, and he has not been seen since.
The Standard now claim that the Argentine could be out for a concerted amount of time, with Lo Celso set to miss weeks worth of action.
The news comes as a blow to Spurs, as Lo Celso’s season just hasn’t got going this term.
The 24-year-old was one of the shining lights last campaign, soon after Mourinho came in, but the playmaker has not reached the same standards this time around.
Lo Celso has been shuffled in and out of Tottenham’s team and has been fighting for fitness for much of the season.

When Lo Celso is fit his talent has been evident, but his persistent injury problems are now causing frustration.
With Lo Celso out it will be important for Spurs that the likes of Erik Lamela and Gareth Bale returns to action sooner rather than later, to help bolster their attacking ranks.
