According to Sport Bild, Tottenham Hotspur remain keen on signing RB Leizpig playmaker Marcel Sabitzer in 2021.

It’s claimed that Sabitzer remains on the Spurs wish list, and is currently valued at around €30million (£27million).

Sabitzer’s contract expires in 2022, meaning he is approaching the final 18 months of his contract and could look to move on.

Bild reported back in March that Tottenham were accelerating their move for Sabitzer, with Jose Mourinho keen to lure him to Spurs.

He was allegedly valued at €50million (£44million) back then, but that price has been slashed as his contract continues to run down.

Sabitzer, 26, smashed 16 goals and 11 assists last season, playing in a host of roles including central midfield, attacking midfield and on the right flank.

This season, Sabitzer has notched two goals and one assist in six games, with an injury setting him back but seemingly not putting Tottenham off a move.

Spurs have a number of players out wide though in Son Heung-min, Steven Bergwijn, Lucas Moura, Erik Lamela and Gareth Bale, as well as central players like Giovani Lo Celso and Dele Alli, so somebody would surely have to leave in order to bring in Sabitzer in 2021.
