Scouts from Arsenal, Crystal Palace, Southampton, Stoke City, Sunderland and Tottenham watched Plymouth beat Stevenage on Sunday.

According to the Plymouth Herald, Tottenham Hotspur scout David Pleat watched Plymouth Argyle beat Stevenage 2-1 on Saturday afternoon – but he wasn’t the only Premier League scout in attendance.
League Two leaders Plymouth travelled to Broadhall Way in search of another three points in a remarkable afternoon for defender Sonny Bradley.

Bradley opened the scoring shortly after half time before putting through his own goal, and then popped up to score the winning goal as he scored all three goals in a 2-1 win for Argyle.
Intriguingly, the Plymouth Herald now report that a number of scouts were at Broadhall Way in an attempt to spot young talent coming through in the lower leagues – and Tottenham’s David Pleat was allegedly among those in attendance.

Pleat, widely known as the man who urged Spurs to sign Dele Alli from MK Dons in January 2015, was spotted in the stands on Saturday afternoon.
It’s claimed that other Premier League scouts – most notably from Arsenal, Crystal Palace, Southampton, Stoke City and Sunderland – were also spotted as they look for new signings ahead of the January transfer window.
Stevenage’s Broadhall Way
Stevenage’s star talent Ben Kennedy was out of action as he was representing the Northern Ireland Under-21’s over the weekend, and with him out, it’s unclear just who Premier League sides were looking at other than Aston Villa-owned Harry McKirdy.
Similarly, it’s difficult to work out which Plymouth players would have been on the radar of top flight teams, though 20-year-old left back Ben Purrington appears to be one for the future – and you just never know where a top young talent like Alli might appear next.
