According to The Mirror, Tottenham Hotspur are interested in landing Paris Saint-Germain right back Serge Aurier as a potential replacement for Kyle Walker.

Walker, 27, has emerged as arguably the Premier League’s best right back during his time working with Mauricio Pochettino, whilst also nailing down a spot as England’s top right back.

However, Walker now looks set to leave Tottenham this summer in search of a pay rise elsewhere, with Kieran Trippier featuring in the Spurs first team more regularly in Walker’s place before the end of the season.

If Walkes does leave, then Spurs do have Trippier and talented youngster Kyle Walker-Peters that can fill in, but speculation suggests that Tottenham may instead look to bring in a big replacement.

The Mirror claim that Spurs are interested in signing Paris Saint-Germain right back Serge Aurier this summer, in the hope of luring him as a potential replacement for Walker.

Aurier, 24, joined PSG from Toulouse back in 2014, and whilst he has been a regular since his arrival, he has been forced to split time with Belgian international Thomas Meunier this season.

The Ivory Coast star may subsequently seek a move elsewhere before signing a new contract with PSG, and Spurs could present themselves as a destination for the defender.

With pace, power and great attacking threat, Aurier could be a like-for-like replacement for Walker, but Spurs will certainly have to pay up to land him, given that PSG are under no pressure to sell, and he has two years left on his contract.
