Jose Mourinho has offered a contract extension to Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Michel Vorm, according to Sky Sports.
Vorm has not made a Premier League appearance for Tottenham all campaign, with the Dutchman only third choice.
Vorm’s current contract is due to expire at the end of this month, but Spurs have decided that they would like to keep him around until the end of the campaign.
The experienced stopper could now remain at Tottenham for another month, with Spurs prepared to give him a contract extension.
Whether Vorm will then be offered a longer-term deal remains to be seen.

The 36-year-old’s solitary appearance for Tottenham this term was far from convincing, as he struggled in an FA Cup defeat against Norwich City.
However, Vorm is believed to be a good character around the dressing room, and as a third choice he may be considered worth keeping around in-case Hugo Lloris and Paulo Gazzaniga are both unavailable.
