According to Sport Ro, Tottenham are interested in signing Parma forward Dennis Man, especially if Harry Kane joins Manchester City.
What’s the story?
Well, the Romanian news outlet believe Spurs are keen to sign the 22-year-old.
Unfortunately, Man suffered relegation to Serie B with Parma last season, despite his best efforts.
The 8-cap Romania international scored 19 goals in 34 appearances, which wasn’t enough to save his side from the drop.
Man has already began life in Serie B on fire, scoring in Parma’s first league game of the season – a 2-2 draw against Frosinone.
The general tone of Sport Ro‘s report is that Man is far too good to be playing in Italy’s second division.
Mauricio Pochettino wanted Dennis Man at Tottenham

Interestingly, Mauricio Pochettino was also interested in bringing the €13m (£11.1m) forward to Tottenham before Daniel Levy sacked him.
It was DigiSport who claimed back in 2018 that the Argentine had sent scouts to watch Man in action for FC Basel.
However, the game was abandoned due to terrible weather conditions, and Spurs never signed the prolific Romanian.

Now, under Nuno Espirito Santo, their interest seems to have returned.
After his stunning efforts in 2020/21, that comes as no surprise whatsoever.
Given his relatively low profile, Spurs could be onto a gem in the market with Man – Fabio Paratici, get it done.
