Tottenham are reportedly set to sign Marseille winger Georges-Kevin Nkoudou.

According to The Guardian, Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino chose to sign Marseille’s Georges-Kevin Nkoudou ahead of Lille star Sofiane Boufal.
Pochettino has already added two new signings in midfielder Victor Wanyama and striker Vincent Janssen, who have arrived from Southampton and AZ Alkmaar respectively – and a third summer signings appears to be on the verge of completion.
The Guardian report that Marseille winger Georges-Kevin Nkoudou is set to seal a move to White Hart Lane in the next 48 hours, with a medical already arranged for the player.
Nkoudou, 21, joined Marseille from Ligue 1 rivals Nantes last summer, and ended his first campaign at the Stade Velodrome with five goals and three assists to his name.
The pacey winger is now heading to North London having allegedly spoken to Spurs boss Pochettino over the phone about the move – and he appears to have been chosen over another Ligue 1 star.
The Guardian’s report claims that Pochettino considered a move for Lille ace Sofiane Boufal, but made his final decision late last week by choosing Nkoudou over the Moroccan.

Whereas Nkoudou hit five goals and three assists, 22-year-old Lille star Boufal notched 11 goals and four assists in Ligue 1 last season, becoming one of the most dangerous attacking players in French football.
Yet with an alleged fee of £20m being considered by Spurs, it seems that Pochettino is instead willing to take a chance on Nkoudou at £11m – and only time will tell whether he has made the right decision as Nkoudou gears up to complete his move to Spurs.
