Tottenham Hotspur will be looking to part ways with Vincent Janssen this summer – and Estadio Deportivo in Spain report that Sevilla are interested.

Spurs will be looking to bring in new signings this summer, but if boss Mauricio Pochettino wants to bring in another striker, he may need to offload some first.

Fernando Llorente may be heading for the exit, whilst Vincent Janssen is almost certainly primed for the chopping block just two years since his £17million switch from AZ Alkmaar (BBC Sport).

Janssen, 23, was supposed to be a big signing for Spurs in 2016, having hit 31 goals in 49 games for AZ, but he hasn’t been able to transfer that form to English football.

Janssen hit just six goals last season, and was sent out on loan to Fenerbahce this term having been frozen out by Pochettino, and he ended this term with five goals in 17 games.

The Dutch international will now return to Spurs, but with no future under Pochettino, Tottenham will be desperate to find a buyer – and they may have one in Sevilla.

Estadio Deportivo in Spain report that Sevilla have put Janssen on their summer shopping list as they target a new striker, with Ajax’s Kasper Dolberg also thought to be on their wish list.

Spurs wouldn’t put up too much resistance if Sevilla do come calling for Janssen, and may even be actively hoping that the Andalusians firm up their reported interest so they can get the flop striker off their books as quickly as possible.
