Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly pursuing Danish youngster Mathias Jensen.

According to Danish news outlet BT, Tottenham Hotspur are among the clubs interested in signing Nordsjaelland midfielder Mathias Jensen.
Spurs move into their new stadium this summer and fans may hope to see some big name additions, but manager Mauricio Pochettino rarely works like that, and prefers to develop young players.
With that in mind, Spurs are looking for a new midfielder, and BT in Denmark report that Spurs have watched Nordsjaelland ace Mathias Jensen as they plot a summer move.
Jensen, 22, has impressed in his native Denmark as a diminutive playmaker with quality on the ball, and a move to North London would hand him the chance to follow in the footsteps of compatriot Christian Eriksen.

Eriksen has become a star with Tottenham, and Jensen could be attracted by the idea of playing alongside the Spurs playmaker, with a link between the two already established.
BT reported in December that Ajax scout John Steen Olsen – the man who spotted Eriksen and brought him to Amsterdam – has scouted Jensen, with the Dutch side keen to land him to boost their midfield.
BT’s latest report notes that Southampton are also keen on Jensen, as are Bayer Leverkusen, but Spurs may hope that the prospect of emulating Eriksen can help secure the Danish youngster’s signature this summer.
