Tottenham have been linked with a move for Arsenal target Djibril Sidibe.

According to Gazza Mercato, Tottenham Hotspur are interested in Monaco full back Djibril Sidibe, along with North London rivals Arsenal and Serie A duo Juventus and Napoli.
Sidibe, 25, started his career with hometown club Troyes before earning his big move to Lille in 2012, where he played almost 100 league games to become one of the top full backs in French football.

Over the summer, Sidibe – who now has four caps for France – decided to move on, joining Ligue 1 rivals Monaco, and his performances already appear to have attracted major interest.
Gazza Mercato, the transfer arm of major Italian newspaper Gazzetta Dello Sport, report that Juventus and Napoli are both interested in taking Sidibe to Serie A, but they face competition from Arsenal and Tottenham.

A fortnight ago, Sidibe was quoted by The Mirror as saying that he snubbed a move to Arsenal over the summer due to fears over how much first-team football he would play at the Emirates Stadium, but it seems that manager Arsene Wenger is keeping Sidibe on his radar.
Interest from Spurs is particularly intriguing, with French internationals Hugo Lloris and Moussa Sissoko already at the club. Sidibe can play at left back or right back, making him a versatile option for Mauricio Pochettino should he lose one of his full backs.

Kyle Walker and Danny Rose won’t be going anywhere any time soon, but the Daily Star reported over the summer that Southampton were interested in backup right back Kieran Trippier, whilst The Sun claimed last month that Chelsea are keen on Spurs left back Ben Davies, despite frayed relations between the two clubs.
Should Trippier or Davies leave in search of more football, then Pochettino could look towards Sidibe, if reports are to be believed – but whether more first-team football lies at White Hart Lane than the Emirates Stadium is unclear given how impressive Walker and Rose have been.
