Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in Anthony Martial, who wants to stay in the Premier League it seems.

According to The Sun, reported Tottenham Hotspur target Anthony Martial is determined to leave Manchester United – and he wants to stay in the Premier League.
Manchester United have told the Spurs-linked attacker that he can leave for £60 million this summer, according to The Daily Express, which claims that a move abroad is the “most likeliest option”.
However, The Sun has now claimed that Martial wants to stay in England – a development which may have significant implications for Tottenham’s chances.
The report adds that the Red Devils are willing to sell – but not to a Premier League rival, but could the Old Trafford club have their hand forced?
The 22-year-old, also reportedly wanted by Bayern Munich, is out of contract next summer and although United can trigger a one-year extension, it still makes more sense on a financial level to take the money if an acceptable offer is tabled by Spurs.
Even if the extension materialises, Jose Mourinho will still have an unhappy player who wants to leave and who doesn’t want to go abroad. He can’t be a healthy influence on the squad overall at the moment.
Mourinho, who once refused to sell Demba Ba to Arsenal during his time at Chelsea, would hate to strengthen Mauricio Pochettino’s side by selling the Lilywhites a player of Martial’s class and potential, but his desire to stay in England could thwart the Portuguese manager.
He earns £65,000 per week in Manchester, according to Total Sportek.
