Tottenham continue to be linked with Bordeaux’s Malcom.

According to Le10 Sport in France, Tottenham Hotspur are likely to firm up their interest in Bordeaux winger Malcom in the coming weeks.
Spurs have yet to make a new signing this summer despite Mauricio Pochettino’s desire to see new faces arrive before the start of the World Cup, and fans will be hoping to see some activity soon.
Despite having the likes of Son Heung-min, Lucas Moura and Georges-Kevin Nkoudou at his disposal, Pochettino may be in the market for another winger, especially as links to Anthony Martial and Wilfried Zaha seem to reappear every couple of weeks.

Now, Le10 Sport in France report that Tottenham – as well as German giants Bayern Munich – are set to firm up their interest in signing Bordeaux winger Malcom in the coming weeks, with a move allegedly expected after the World Cup despite the fact that he isn’t even in the Brazil squad.
Inter Milan have been pursuing Malcom for weeks now, but the report claims that the Italian giants are set to miss out as they wanted a loan with a compulsory purchase clause, whereas Bordeaux want to sell for €40million (£35million) this summer.
That leaves Spurs and Bayern ready to pounce for a talented winger who hit 12 goals and seven assists in 35 Ligue 1 appearances for Bordeaux last season, with the 21-year-old blossoming over in France.

Tottenham may well be in line to land a smart deal at £35million, given that his price tag was far higher in January, but waiting another couple of weeks may not be the best idea.
Inter may not be out of the race just yet if they can raise funds for a permanent move, whilst Bayern would also be in a position to benefit from Inter’s collapsed talks, and if Tottenham want Malcom, they should move now – before risking it being too late.
