Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in signing Davide Calabria this summer, but he has already made a decision on his future.

Tottenham are ‘likely’ to make a move for AC Milan defender Davide Calabria in the summer, but the right-back has no plans to leave San Siro whatever offers come his way, according to a report from Calciomercato.

Calabria has been a mainstay of the Rossoneri side this season, making 21 Serie A appearances and playing four times in the Europa League. He has scored once and provided one assist.

The 22-year-old is now being tracked by a couple of Premier League sides. Calciomercato reports that both Spurs and Manchester United are likely to make bids for the youngster during the next window – but they appear to have a job on their hands to convince Calabria to leave Milan.

Calciomercato reports that Milan are under little pressure to sell with his contract not set to expire until 2022, and Calabria does not currently want to leave the club.

Despite having a number of options in Calabria’s best position, it would probably not be a huge surprise if Mauricio Pochettino did have his eye on strengthening his ranks at right-back, with Kieran Trippier and Serge Aurier enduring dips in form at times this season.

Kyle Walker-Peters appears to have a bright future ahead of him. But he still only boasts a handful of appearances for the first-team, and Calabria offers versatility having played further up the line, and in the middle of the park on one occasion this term.

Unfortunately for Spurs however, Calabria appears to have no intention of switching clubs during the summer so Pochettino may need to look elsewhere if he does want a new right-back.
