Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in signing Ridvan Yilmaz.

According to TRT Spor, Spurs are potentially keen on signing the 20-year-old left-back.

The report adds that the Lilywhites are ‘particularly interested’ and will scout the Besiktas star over the weekend against Kasimpasa.

Yilmaz can also play left midfield and his versatility will definitely appeal to Tottenham manager Antonio Conte, who likes to employ wing-backs.

And given that he can attack and defend, well the youngster might be right up Conte’s alley.

The Italian has left-sided options who can do one or the other, like Ryan Sessegnon and Sergio Reguilon, but neither of them are all-rounders and maybe, just maybe, that’s where Yilmaz comes in.

Already capped by Turkey, six days after his 20th birthday last May, Yilmaz clearly has a promising future and it’ll be fascinating to see whether he’s a genuine Tottenham target.

Three goals and four assists for Besiktas from left-back this season makes him a very interesting player and, as mentioned above, might be an ideal figure for the Italian manager.
