Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly keen on AC Milan defender Ricardo Rodriguez.

According to Tutto Mercato Web, Tottenham Hotspur have made contact with AC Milan in the last few hours in order to discuss a potential deal for left back Ricardo Rodriguez.
Spurs have yet to make a new signing this summer, but boss Mauricio Pochettino will be keen to bring in reinforcements ahead of the August transfer deadline as he looks to boost his squad.
A host of left backs have been linked with moves to North London, including Alejandro Grimaldo and Kieran Tierney, but a new name has been added to the mix today.

Tutto Mercato Web report that Tottenham are keen on AC Milan left back Ricardo Rodriguez, and have shown their interest in the ‘last few hours’ as they pursue a deal.
Rodriguez, 25, joined Milan from Wolfsburg last summer after six years with the German club, and he notched three goals and two assists for the Italian side last season.
The Swiss international didn’t enjoy his best season with Milan, but did start every game for Switzerland at this summer’s World Cup in Russia, including Tuesday’s elimination at the hands of Sweden.

It’s now believed that Spurs are interested in Rodriguez, who has become known for his excellent crossing over the years, though the report notes that he currently doesn’t want to leave Milan.
Spurs do already have Ben Davies, and signing another left back only makes sense if Danny Rose moves on this summer, and that currently doesn’t look likely, meaning Rodriguez may only be eyed up in case Rose does find himself a move.
