Tottenham Hotspur have allegedly failed with a move for Roma’s Patrik Schick.

According to Sport Mediaset in Italy, Tottenham Hotspur made an attempt to sign Roma forward Patrik Schick – but have been batted away.
Spurs have seen Harry Kane go down with an ankle ligament injury to keep him out for around two months, whilst Son Heung-min is away at the Asian Cup with South Korea.
That may mean that Tottenham have to dip into the transfer market, and they have been linked with a whole host of strikers over the last week.
Another name to enter the frame is Roma striker Schick, as Sport Mediaset claim that Tottenham have made an approach to the Serie A club about a potential deal this month.
However, Roma have rejected the request, feeling that the Czech forward is not for sale at all and will not be leaving the Stadio Olimpico.
Schick, 22, only managed three goals in his debut season for Roma last term, and has mustered just four goals in 20 games so far this season.

He did though star at Sampdoria, hitting 13 goals in 35 games during the 2016-17 season following a move from Sparta Prague to become hot property in Italy.
Roma landed him on loan and then permanently, and despite his lack of goals, they seemingly aren’t willing to let him move on to Spurs just yet.
