Real Madrid have turned their attention away from Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino and striker Harry Kane.

Tottenham Hotspur do not need to worry about Real Madrid trying to poach top-scorer Harry Kane and manager Mauricio Pochettino this summer.
That is according to Sports Illustrated, who claim that despite previous links Los Blancos have decided against moves for Kane and Pochettino – for the time being at least.

Why the change of heart?
Well the report goes on to say that Robert Lewandowski is now Madrid’s prime target as they search for a replacement for Karim Benzema.
Bayern Munich are determined not to sell Lewandowski, who has three years remaining on his current contract, and director Karl-Heinz Rummenigge says the striker is going nowhere.

The Spanish giants are determined to get a deal done, though, and focusing on the 29-year-old means they will not look to sign Kane as well.
As for Pochettino, his potential appointment would depend on current boss Zinedine Zidane being sacked, which after a 3-0 quarter-final first-leg win against Juventus in the Champions League this week is looking increasingly unlikely.
