Tottenham Hotspur are pursuing Nice striker Alassane Plea.

According to a report from RMC Sport, Tottenham Hotspur are continuing talks over a deal to sign Nice forward Alassane Plea, with a move ‘more and more likely’.
Spurs have yet to make a new signing in the transfer market this summer, but boss Mauricio Pochettino appears to be keen on bringing a new forward to North London.
Harry Kane remains a goal machine for Spurs, but Fernando Llorente struggled last season following his move from Swansea City, meaning another goalscorer should be targeted.

Last week, reports in France suggested that Tottenham have made a move for Nice forward Alassane Plea, and RMC Sport now claim that a €26million (£23million) offer is on the table.
It’s reported that talks are continuing between the two clubs, but a move is now looking ‘more and more likely’, with Plea potentially heading to the Premier League this summer.
Plea, 25, came up through the ranks with Lyon but moved on to Ligue 1 rivals Nice in 2014, and he has progressed every season, scoring three times in his first season, six times in his second and 14 times in his third.

This past season, the Frenchman scored 21 goals for Nice, and he seemingly feels that the time is right to move on, with Tottenham potentially pouncing to add him to their forward line.
A versatile forward who can play anywhere across the front line, Plea has pace, power and finishing ability, and could well be the forward that Spurs have been looking for as cover for Kane.
