Jose Mourinho is very angry with Tottenham Hotspur attacker Gareth Bale, according to a report.
Bale made headlines in midweek when he was left out of Mourinho’s squad for the trip to Everton in the FA Cup, which resulted in Spurs losing 5-4 after extra-time.
The Tottenham boss intimated that fitness was the primary reason as to why the Wales international was left behind in North London.
But prior to kickoff, the player uploaded a photo on Instagram alongside the caption which read: “good session today.”
And The Express has reported that Mourinho is ‘incensed’ with the player due to the fact it makes him look like ‘the bad guy’.
Tottenham re-signing Bale was arguably the biggest transfer of last summer’s window in terms of profile and fanfare.
But the 31-year-old has only managed 230 minutes of Premier League football this season which gives rise to suggestions that he was not actually a Mourinho signing.
There’s been little to no reports about friction between the two until now but if The Express is right then Bale’s social media activity has done him no favours whatsoever here.
