Tottenham Hotspur have become aware that Harry Maguire is being made available by Manchester United.
Harry Maguire is potentially on his way out of Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are aware of a possible move.
That is according to The Times, who note that Tottenham want incoming boss Ange Postecoglou to reshape the Spurs squad.
That will likely mean changes in defence and Postecoglou will surely want some new centre backs this summer.
Clement Lenglet is only on loan from Barcelona and may not be kept whilst Davinson Sanchez and Japhet Tanganga look likely to go.
Cristian Romero is the only Tottenham centre back you can really see Postecoglou building around and that means changes are needed.
It’s stated that Tottenham are aware of the situation surrounding United defender Harry Maguire.
United seem willing to sell Maguire this summer and Tottenham are well-informed on a potential departure.
This comes after claims from the Daily Mail that United are even willing to pay Maguire £10million to leave Old Trafford.
Maguire earns around £190,000-a-week at Old Trafford and the Red Devils now just want to cut ties after four years at United.

Tottenham Hotspur should avoid Harry Maguire move
We can understand a level of interest from Tottenham in Maguire.
Mauricio Pochettino wanted to bring Maguire to Spurs having witnessed him excel in the Hull City defence, according to Danny Rose.
Spurs missed out on Maguire as he instead joined Leicester City, be he remained on the Tottenham radar according to The Sun.
Tottenham were never going to pay the £80million United forked out but they did chase Maguire for a while.
Maybe there is still some admiration there but this just isn’t the right move for Tottenham.
The 30-year-old has continued to play well for England but his Premier League displays have been disappointing.
Tottenham need to build a defence for the Postecoglou era and find Romero a settled partner for the years to come.
Romero and Maguire as a partnership just sounds too prone to mistakes and lapses in concentration and if Postecoglou wants to sort out Tottenham’s back line, Maguire is maybe one player to swerve.
